CAPMAC

Learn this site

CAPMAC does not guess what "normal" is. It reads a stretch of your own healthy records, works out each unit's normal level and how much it normally wobbles, and keeps that with the dates and the range it saw. Outside that range it says "I have not seen this before" and gives no verdict. No machine learning: the normal range is worked out from the healthy period you pick.

Everything after your "To" point is judged against what was worked out.
Grey band = the normal range worked out from the healthy period you picked. Gold lines = the healthy period you picked. Orange dots are readings the page refuses to judge because that operating state was never seen healthy. Red dots are outside the band.

Remaining life improves with your records

Remaining-life ranges get narrower and better centred as your plant adds confirmed failures and cleaning or service dates. On each Remaining life card, use Add failure or cleaning dates: the record is kept in this browser and a re-estimate is shownbesidethe current one. It is only a proposal; a named person has to approve it, and the current figure stays until the next learning pass.

What changed, and what we suggest changing

Your maintenance records (repairs, inspections, cleanings, confirmed false alarms and confirmed faults) are read for suggestions only. Nothing changes until a named person presses Accept. Every decision is written to the change log, and one button puts every unit back to its factory settings.

Suggestions are made from your records only. They are not a warning of future faults, and they never switch a check off.
